MAKING A PARADE WORK
It takes a county & city-wide team effort to salute our veterans
The 2019 Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade marks 100 years of honoring veterans in Fort Worth. The parade is planned, organized, and staged using volunteer man-hours, with limited funding and generous “in kind” donations from local municipalities, businesses, civic groups, and people across Tarrant County and beyond.
Excitement will be marching down Main Street on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019 as North Texans celebrate Veterans Day in downtown Fort Worth. This Centennial Celebration also recognizes the 100th anniversary of the founding of the American Legion, its Auxiliary and the Military Order of the World Wars.

Although the planning and preparation stretches almost a year in length, when all the pieces of the parade puzzle come together, it's truly memorable.
Parade Organizer
The Tarrant County Veterans Council depends on a legion of volunteers in order to bring the Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade to fruition. Coupled with the overwhelming support of business and civic leaders, veteran service organizations and a public full of pride, the annual event is celebrating 100 years of recognizing veterans across North Texas.
